At Canopy Insurance Texas, we communicate with clients and prospective clients through several channels, including phone calls, text messages, email, and direct mail. We use these channels to provide insurance quotes, policy information, renewal reminders, educational content, and promotional offers. We respect your time and your preferences, and we want to make sure you only receive communications that are useful and welcome.

Managing Your Communication Preferences

Email Communications

If you have provided your email address to us, you may receive messages related to your insurance inquiries, policy updates, and educational content. You can opt out of promotional emails at any time by:

  • Clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any promotional email
  • Emailing us at ejn@canopyig.com with “Unsubscribe” in the subject line
  • Calling us at 210-436-6080 to request removal from our email list

Please note that opting out of promotional emails does not affect transactional or policy-related communications, such as renewal notices or claims-related correspondence, which we may still need to send.

Phone Calls

If you request a quote or contact us through our website, you may receive phone calls from our agents to discuss your insurance needs. If you prefer not to receive phone calls, you can let us know at any time by:

  • Telling the agent during the call that you do not wish to receive further calls
  • Emailing ejn@canopyig.com with your phone number and a request to be placed on our internal do-not-call list
  • Calling 210-436-6080 to request removal

Text Messages (SMS)

We may send text messages to the phone number you provide if you have opted in to receive them. Text messages may include appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, or important policy alerts. Standard messaging rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.

To opt out of text messages:

Direct Mail

You may occasionally receive printed materials from us. To opt out of direct mail, please contact us by email or phone with your mailing address and a request to be removed from our mailing list.

TCPA Compliance

Canopy Insurance Texas complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all related FCC regulations. We do not place autodialed or prerecorded calls or send automated text messages to your phone without your prior express consent. When you submit a quote request or contact form on our website, you may be providing consent to receive communications related to your inquiry.

You may revoke your consent at any time using any of the methods described above. Once we process your request, we will cease the applicable communications within a reasonable time frame, typically within 10 business days.

Do Not Call Registry

We honor the National Do Not Call Registry. If your number is on the registry and you have not provided us with prior express consent, we will not contact you for marketing purposes. If you believe you have received a call from us in error, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and correct the issue.

How Long It Takes

Opt-out requests for email and text messages are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Phone and mail opt-out requests may take up to 10 business days to fully process. During the processing period, you may still receive previously scheduled communications.
